Genomics WA is proud to be a Platinum Sponsor of the Global Microbiome Symposium 2026, held on 21 August at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.

Bringing together researchers working across clinical and environmental microbiomes, the symposium provides an opportunity to share emerging research, technologies and approaches across the Western Australian microbiome community.

As part of the program, Genomics WA will present “Mud, Mucus and Microbes: The Hidden Challenges of Delivering Microbial Genomics,” exploring some of the practical challenges encountered when translating diverse microbial samples into high-quality genomic data.
